Our parenting group at FACTS is for any parent who wants to take their communication and emotional intelligence to the next level. Each week, we will dive into a specific topic that affects parents in day-to-day life. We will then offer some real-life applications to these areas and then allow for some “hot-seat coaching” where parents can ask for specific help in areas where they need support. Whether you’re the parent of a toddler or a teenager, we are here to support you in your journey with this group.

This group will meet for 4 weeks on Tuesday evenings at Family and Couple Therapy Services. This group is intended for parents and adult members of the family - not for children or teens directly.

Charles Fisher

 

Charles works with individuals, children, teens, couples, parents, and families. Charles graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministry from Lincoln Christian University, has earned an Early Childhood Education Certificate from Community College of Baltimore County, and has earned a Life Coaching Certificate from The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. Charles spent 6 years working with youth and families in vocational ministry followed by 7 years working in a Maryland Certified, Early Childhood Center. Through these experiences, a passion grew to help people of all ages be able to understand and navigate their emotions. Charles is a full-time father who also works as an Emotion Coach. He believes that learning healthy coping skills early, can set kids up for lifelong emotional well-being.
